The Legatum Institute has rebranded and changed its name to the Prosperity Institute to reflect more accurately its mission to promote the prosperity of individuals, families and communities, in the UK and beyond.
The Prosperity Institute (prosperity.com) will continue to conduct world-class research and publish reports on prosperity-driven public issues, as well as convene scholars and policymakers, so that individuals, communities and nations can become more prosperous.

London, 21st January 2025: The Legatum Institute, the London-based think tank, has changed its name to the Prosperity Institute (prosperity.com) to more accurately reflect its mission to promote the prosperity of individuals, families and communities, in the UK and beyond.
The Prosperity Institute will continue its work in conducting world-class research, publishing reports on prosperity-driven public issues and convening scholars and policymakers so that individuals, communities and nations can become more prosperous. The rebrand comes at a crucial time, when many governments are struggling to renew prosperity in their nations and when some have lost sight of the principles and ideas that made them prosperous in the first place.
Dr Radomir Tylecote, Managing Director of the Prosperity Institute, said:

The growth in human prosperity that we took for granted for so long is now at risk because many have forsaken the principles on which it was built. The Prosperity Institute will continue to be fully owned by Legatum and will continue to put Legatum’s commitment to prosperity at the heart of its work.
