Clara is the Education Operations Manager at the Prosperity Institute.
Before joining the Prosperity Institute, Clara was the Deputy Director of Academic Outreach at the Institute of Economic Affairs. There she ran educational programmes for students, academics, and young professionals including a conference on the interaction between faith and markets. She was previously the IEA’s Outreach Coordinator, which involved coordinating engagement with the IEA’s student and academic network.
Clara read Theology & Religion at the University of Oxford, where she was involved in several political and Christian groups and wrote for a student journal. In her final year she explored 19th century intellectual history, writing her dissertation on the Danish theologian Søren Kierkegaard’s ‘Practice in Christianity’.
Clara is interested in classical education and the role of education in character formation and child development. She manages the Prosperity Institute’s Edington Fellowship and Internship programme.
